The committee is tasked with reviewing any requests to amend the Pacific West Province’s ordinances and providing education on amendment procedures and the use of Robert’s Rules.

Charges to be completed prior to upcoming province

·       Reach out to Legislative Chairs of Collegiate Chapters / Regents of Graduate Chapters that have not sent updated ordinances in the last 4 years and assist them in reviewing ordinances and submitting updates

·       Solicit ordinance changes from Province brothers

Charges to be completed during province

·       Create and present a concise overview of the legislative process and a Robert’s Rules refresher

·       Explain quorum for the voting process

·       Assist chapters with questions about legislation
